Mr. Sandman is a handsome young alpaca. He has produced wonderfully soft, crimpy blankets of almost 6 pounds in each of the last three years. “Beige” does not accurately describe what beautiful fleece he has. His father is the impressive stud Grazing Hills Diego, whose father is the legendary Legacy, son of Vengador. His mother Snowmass Peruvian Angelica has given birth to many blue ribbon winners.
He has an pink pigmented skin and wonderfully dark eyes. His testicles are quite large and he shows them off proudly. We bred him for the first time in 2008 and he impregnated the dam on their first breeding. His first offspring Wheatland's Sizzling Summer arrived in 2008. She clearly inherited her heavy reddish-colored blanket from her sire. Mr. Sandman's 2009 offspring Wheatland's Major Mac and Wheatland's Margarite are both dark brown and easy keepers. His fourth offspring, Wheatland's Campbell, born 8/18/10 is a handsome medium brown fellow.
