Description
For one reason or another, we have decided not to use these boys as breeders, but they all have highly useable, wonderful fiber (some extremely soft), fantastic for handspinners and fiber artists. Some have placed in competitive shows as high as 1st place. Colors include white, fawn, brown, rose grey, and black.
They are halter trained and handled, great for a unique and rewarding 4-H project.
Some of our boys have the personality and assertiveness for guarding smaller livestock (such as chickens or goats).
Most of our non-herdsires are already gelded, but a few are still in tact. If they are used as breeders, there will be an extra charge for the ARI certificate.
Our boys will only be sold to farms with other alpacas or in groups of 2-3 due to their social nature.
We highly enjoy our boys - they are entertaining, fun to work with, and have provided us with high quality fiber (and a lot of it!).
Awards
Many of these boys have acquired ribbons in various shows - some as high as 1st place.
