Description
Honor Code earned his first blue ribbon in his first show, 2015 NW Alpaca Showcase. His sire is the remarkable Skywalker by Poseidon of FDA, owned by international alpaca judge Amanda VandenBosch. His dam is Ned Kelly’s Willow of Sage Bluff, (Hemingway/Benetton) who at five years of age also took a blue ribbon at Showcase.
Honor is an exceptional fawn male with the phenotype judges appreciate: stunning head, excellent density of bone, and compact, textbook frame. His fiber is exceptionally uniform with long silky staple, dense, fine and bright.
Amanda VandenBosch comments on his fiber: "maintaining excellent softness and handle; excellent length to staple; good structure within staple and density." Cool.
We love this boy’s temperament: confident and easy on the lead, curious and willing, plays well with others.
Honor Code really turns heads in the pasture… visitors comment “my gosh he’s gorgeous!” and open females flirt with him shamelessly. We look forward to starting Honor’s breeding career next spring.
NOTE: As we delayed starting his breeding career, Honor will be sold as a fiber male. He could likely sire exceptional offspring, but no breeding guarantees nor ARI transfer are provided at his fiber male price. If you wish to breed with him and register offspring, an additional $1000 will be payable at the time of ARI transfer.
