Vic Jr's Invincible
| AOA# 851688 | Dark Fawn
|
Invincible is out of Victor Jr and has both Victor & Hemingway bloodlines. These bloodlines are known for improving breeding programs across the country. We are using him in our breeding program with those production females of color who need to add crimp and fineness. So far we are seeing great results using this breeding strategy. Invincible has great fiber character and luster. His fiber has a buttery shine and feel. In the composite show he went to in Idaho he received 19/20 points in Fineness and Handle, 17/20 points in Uniformity, 19.5/25 points in Style and 12/15 points in Lack of Medulation and Impurities. His fleece was 1st out of 6. He placed 2nd in confirmation and first overall.
News Flash - Invincible's first cria have started hitting the ground. The first cria was a solid medium brown out of a black and white dam. His second cria, well, SHE is simply yummy! She is the cria photo on this page. His third just in was born on our farm. He has a most wonderful head and tight ringlets and curls. He has also had a white female out of a medium fawn dam and a solid black male out of a medium fawn dam. The colors of the last two where big surprises. Especially the black as there is no solid black in either parents background that we can find. Both of the crias are wonderful, soft and showing wonderful architecture. Invincible enjoys breeding and is getting it done in one shot. He has his date book out and is wanting to add your girls name to his schedule.
Invincible was the December stud in the 2007 Studs of CABA calendar.

BROKERING ALPACA SALES FOR HALCYON ALPACAS
Jim and Kerry Martin, Upland CA.
Female standing at Fireball Alpacas, Caldwell, Idaho.
A hidden treasure-Halcyon Victoria is a beautiful, silver eyed maiden female, full of dynamic bloodlines; most predominant with Victor and Hemingway genetics. She was not exposed to the show circuit in her earlier years and has never been bred for offspring so she remains a bit of a mystery. However, after thorough analysis of this fine female, investigating her championship bloodline and her very impressive fleece with staying fineness as demonstrated in her most recent histogram, Victoria will offer her new owners an opportunity to add a plethora of exceptional traits to her offspring and distinguished bloodline to her new herd.
Her regal composition encompasses a straight line, large boned body with a beautiful full fiber head. Her bite is spot on and her teeth have never needed to be trimmed. But her fiber is probably her most impressive trait of all. At almost 7 years old, her MFD is only 22! This is staying fineness that all breeders covet in their breeding program. At her latest shearing, her staple length was over 3 inches of bright, lustrous, bolder crimp bundles and this girl is dense. Really dense. She's like a Persian Rug that doesn't move when pressing down on her. And to add icing on the cake, Victoria has a very sweet disposition, extremely friendly and curious. Truly a joy to have on our ranch.
Since Victoria doesn't have any offspring, and not knowing if her silver gray eyes represent the white spot gene, to play it safe, I would recommend breeding her to solid color males and not to white. Imagine adding her staying fineness and fleece characteristics to one of your solid colored males. I wouldn't hesitate this breeding for a second. And of course, our contract guarantees a healthy baby cria.
If you are interested in this wonderful female, I'm happy to send you fiber samples or any other information that would help you with your buying decision.
