Foundation female, HALCYON CASSIOPEIA, casually known as "Cassie", is a premium white breeding female that proudly displays Hemingway genetics, both on her herdsire's and dam's side, encompassing the traits one would expect from an elite alpaca lineage including: straightness of composition, strong bone structure, great density, organized/consistent bright white fiber from her shoulders to her belly, notable lasting fineness and a strong triangular head. Cassie at age five Cassie still has a remarkably soft handle and has many good breeding years in front of her.

Cria by side, ALPEX CALENDULA, is a five month old very promising female. She is already displaying
extraordinary fleece characteristics as witnessed in attached photo and by her ultra fine, buttery handle. Calendula's architecture is balanced, proportioned and straight as an arrow. This not surprising with her Hemingway lineage on both sides of her grandparents and parents. As in her dam, you can expect lasting fineness and great mothering skills in her future.

CASSIOPEIA BRED IN (June 2015) TO FIVE TIME COLOR CHAMPION SNOWMASS MIDNIGHT SUN. Snowmass Midnight Sun's progeny characteristics and award statuses are unprecedented with numerous (championship to second place) awards to date and growing with each show season. One of his most famous offspring, RR Belleza Nera, a True Black female, is the densest alpaca EVER recorded through skin biopsy testing-(Alpaca Consulting Services USA. Ian Watt, 2013) He has consistently improved (cria over dam), even with the best and most prestigious dams sired from Guns and Roses.
